GraceJanuary Newsletter

Welcome to our January newsletter! The start of the month did not bode well with rain and wind seeming to be a constant theme each day. However, the last few days have seen dry conditions and even some sun, a blessed relief for our winter fields which are looking decidedly worse for wear!! This month is very quiet as we have a brief break before kick starting the new season.
This year brings lots of new initiatives for the riding school and we hope we can provide something for every age and ability. The website will also be refreshed with new content and areas so please keep an eye out so you keep abreast with all the developments!
Finally, we wish you a successful 2012 regardless of what your aims or ambitions are!

Lessons

Unfortunately, the down side to the start of each New Year is the inevitable increase in costs for the riding school regarding insurance, rates etc. This year is no exception and we have been left with no choice but to increase all lesson prices by £2 except for Saturday Club which remains the same.

We have tried to provide lessons at off peak times at a reduced rate so as to provide alternative options and will continue to look at other schemes to help spread the cost.

Our popular dressage academy evenings will recommence on the 27th January at 6pm. These are always immensely popular so please book in advance at the office as we can only accommodate so many riders.

Dressage Evenings

Our next unaffiliated dressage evenings will start on the 3rd Feb. The schedule will appear on the events page of our website in the next week. We do ask that riders enter in plenty of time as insufficient entries by the closing date will result in sadly having to cancel the competition.

Group Sessions

We are launching special group sessions during the day for riders who wish to get back into riding, would like to learn a new hobby or just want to get fit! The cost is £20 for an hour’s session (3 riders or more) and this includes a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits at the end of the session! It’s your chance to make new friends and learn a little more about our sport. Different abilities will operate on different days so there is something to suit everyone. If you are interested please contact the office on 01208 831817 for times and to book. We will also be starting stable management lessons for riders during the day and it’s your chance to get hands on with the horse and learn about the welfare and handling of them. The cost is £15 for an hour’s session and this includes refreshments.
